Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
  • Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
  • Escorts VIPs to their rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
  • Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed.
  • Responsible for issuing the bank. Counts the bank at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures all cash drops are done according to proper cash handling procedures and reports any cash overages or shortages to management.
  • Keeps the front desk area clean and organized.
  • Assists with lobby activation as needed.
  • Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
  • Follows a checklist when going through check-in or check-out with guests.
  • Always retrieves necessary identification documents and forms of payment upon arrival.
  • Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
  • Performs various other duties as assigned.
  • Might require covering Night Auditor shifts, 2 times per week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
  • Minimum of High School education.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $15. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process. Paid Time Off (PTO) is available for eligible associates in accordance with the Company's Paid Time Off policy.
