About the role
Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to join their team at the Aloft hotel in St. Louis, MO. This position will handle guest arrivals, departures, and in-house inquiries, as well as manage telephone inquiries about hotel services.
Responsibilities
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
- Issues room keys and provides directions.
- Sorts incoming mail and faxes for guests.
- Answers inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Computes bills, collects payments, and makes change for guests.
- Makes, confirms, and cancels reservations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred.
- Experience in a customer service industry is required.
