About the role

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to join their team at the Aloft hotel in St. Louis, MO. This position will handle guest arrivals, departures, and in-house inquiries, as well as manage telephone inquiries about hotel services.

Responsibilities

  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
  • Issues room keys and provides directions.
  • Sorts incoming mail and faxes for guests.
  • Answers inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
  • Computes bills, collects payments, and makes change for guests.
  • Makes, confirms, and cancels reservations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred.
  • Experience in a customer service industry is required.
