Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location, and answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Up-sell rooms whenever possible to maximize hotel revenue.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures, including posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposits, and counting/securing assigned bank.
- Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 30 pounds
- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system
- Food Handlers Card preferred
- 1-year previous bartender experience preferred
- Prepared drinks to industry and brand standards
- Maintain a knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients and prep time
- Perform responsible alcohol service per brand standards
- Work in a team environment, assist other servers/team members as needed
- Enter all orders into the POS

About the Role
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel quickly, efficiently and courteously using the property management system; processing all payments according to established hotel policies and requirements; and providing information and customer service to guests and visitors of the hotel.
As Bartender, you are responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. You are also responsible for creating an enjoyable experience for our guests while providing friendly, accurate and efficient service.
