Front Desk Agent
About the role
The Front Desk Agent will support the Guest Services department at Element Valley Forge Hotel, a part of Wurzak Hotel Group. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of hotel guest's accommodation, including check-in and check-out tasks, managing reservations, providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities, responding to client complaints, liaising with housekeeping, confirming group reservations, upselling services, maintaining booking records, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform all checkin and checkout tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role. They should have experience with hotel reservations software, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a customer service background.
