Greet and communicate cordially with guests
- Promptly and professionally check in and out of the hotel
- Aid in pre-registration and reservation blocking when needed
Financial Management
- Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving payments and providing correct change
- Have complete knowledge of Front Office computer or manual systems, including daily transactions and infrequent ones
Reservation Handling
- Know and manage hotel rates, discounts, and payment methods
- Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures, including taking same-day reservations
- Be able to take reservations in approximately 2 minutes
- Understand and follow cancellation and relocation procedures when necessary
