About the role
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in creating lasting impressions for guests. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing their information, distributing keys, assigning rooms, and answering general inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage their information
- Distribute keys and assign rooms
- Answer general inquiries to ensure an excellent guest experience
Requirements
- Prior front desk experience in a brand setting or luxury hotel environment (ideal, but willing to train)
- Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft Office and hotel-specific platforms
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others
- The ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously
- Flexible schedule required for days, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
- Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired
- The ability to comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas
