Front Desk Agent

Hourly rate: $21.40. Regular part-time position; must be available weekends and holidays.

About the role

As a Guest Services Agent at Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), you will assist in providing our Owners and guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Check Owners and guests into their villas, review property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Actively listen and respond positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests; contact other departments to help resolve guest issues.
• Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas).
• Follow up with Owners and guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
• Answer telephone calls and route calls to the proper department as applicable.
• May assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location.
• Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy and legal requirements.
