About the role
The Hotel Host contributes to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork. This position is responsible for the complete guest experience, including the Hotel Host Stand, the Bakery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den, guest check-in and out, and the servicing of the meeting rooms.
Responsibilities
- Offering a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment
- Handling guest check-in and check-out processes
- Servicing meeting rooms as needed
- Communicating effectively with guests
Requirements
- Previous guest service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field
- Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking ability
- Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications
- Customer service experience required, preferably in a hotel or related field
- Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
Skills
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
