Key Responsibilities
- Greet and register guests efficiently and courteously upon arrival
- Make, modify, and cancel reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Serve as the hotel operator, handling phone inquiries and guest requests
- Perform concierge duties, providing information about local attractions, dining, and services when needed
- Settle guest accounts accurately upon departure
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the guest’s stay
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service, or hotel environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, upbeat personality with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding guest service
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computer skills
- Clerical and organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
- Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
