Front Desk Agent

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests efficiently and courteously upon arrival
  • Make, modify, and cancel reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Serve as the hotel operator, handling phone inquiries and guest requests
  • Perform concierge duties, providing information about local attractions, dining, and services when needed
  • Settle guest accounts accurately upon departure
  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the guest’s stay

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service, or hotel environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, upbeat personality with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computer skills
  • Clerical and organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
  • Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
