About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking a Front Desk Agent who embodies a passion for hospitality and excellence. This position involves shaping guest experiences through exceptional service and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes guests efficiently and courteously, using their names when possible.
  • Assigns the requested room type and ensures the correct rate is charged.
  • Arranges for luggage delivery to the guest's room.
  • Issues the correct keys to the guest.
  • Checks out guests at the end of their stay.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges, and presents bills to guests.
  • Accurately settles bills through credit card or cash transactions.
  • Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel.
  • Manages cash transactions, exchanges foreign currency, and reconciles all transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner, both in person and by phone.
  • Utilizes various computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
  • Complies with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Accepts reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department staff.
  • Answers guest calls and directs them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of hotel experience in a luxury setting.
  • Fluency in English, with written, spoken, and reading proficiency.
  • Fluency in a language other than English is preferred.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Knowledgeable about Miami areas.

Schedule

Multiple shifts available, one requiring 2 overnight shifts and 3 day shifts.
