About the role

We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our Front Office Team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. You will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and performing other tasks to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest information and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, and assisting with check-out.
  • Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for, use the point-of-sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge.
  • Answer guest questions and inquiries, use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, and maximize room occupancy.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.

Requirements

You must have prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or prior experience in a high volume industry dealing with customers. You should be passionate about providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest experiences. You are flexible with your schedule and have excellent computer skills and a team spirit.

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or similar high-volume industry.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and enhancing guest experiences.
  • Flexibility with a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset.
