Front Desk Agent
About the role
A front desk agent at Valley River Inn, you will be a key member of the Guest Services and Front Office teams. Your responsibilities include efficient check-in and check-out processes, managing guest issues, and supporting financial and service-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes, including room credits, keys, and special requests.
- Manage guest issues effectively, using discretion and professionalism.
- Conduct follow-up with guests and team members.
- Make restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations on behalf of guests.
Requirements
Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Previous experience in cash handling and computerized Point of Sale system is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Available to work weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of the front desk, efficient check-in and checkout processes, familiarity with property management systems, and ability to operate PBX and Radio paging systems.
