Fright Fest Attraction Actor 18+

About the role

Join our scream team as a seasonal Fright Fest character and bring the scares to life in our haunted houses, attractions, and scare zones. This role runs from mid-September through the end of October. No prior acting or scaring experience is required—just bring your talent and enthusiasm!

Responsibilities

• Take on a character role during Fright Fest and scare the public at special park functions
• Leave guests’ screams echoing through the crisp night air while maintaining attraction and guest safety
• Remain in character at all times
• Wear the assigned costume appropriately; supply your own black shoes, black pants, and long-sleeve black shirt
• Operate small props
• Maintain cleanliness of the attraction, including removing litter, changing trash, and wiping down surfaces
• Listen to direction from attractions leadership
• Perform all other duties assigned or necessary to support the park

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available Saturdays from at least 4pm to park close
• Must be available for rehearsals/trainings starting in September
• Must be willing to work in a haunted attraction, including potential contact with straw, corn, latex, small/dark spaces, and strobe lighting
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform job duties
• Must maintain a positive attitude and professional, self-motivated work environment
• Must be able to cooperate with other staff, handle stress, and troubleshoot problems
• Must have strong work ethic, communication skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to multi-task
• Must comply with Six Flags policy and standards
