Responsibilities

• Develop Friction Stir Welding parameters
• Build large parts for customers
• Select ideal materials
• Design fixturing
• Drive the business case for friction stir additive manufacturing

Requirements

• Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 -US Person
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Friction Stir Welding
• Experience operating Friction Stir Welding equipment
• Experience designing fixtures and building parts
• Experience in additive manufacturing with friction stir (preferable)
• CAD/CAM experience including an understanding of g-code

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Welding Engineering
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to work in a team-based environment
• Desire to develop new skills on the job
• Able to take and give direction well
• Strong desire to understand both technology and business aspects

Benefits

Location: Central MA (Worcester / Leominster)

Pay Range: $110,000 – $160,000
