About the role

Biocon Biologics is hiring a Consultant – Medical Affairs for a one-year contract within its Medical Affairs department. This opportunity is open to MBBS freshers who are eager to begin their careers in the pharmaceutical industry. The position offers valuable exposure to scientific communication, medical strategy, literature evaluation, evidence generation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates will gain practical industry experience while supporting medical and scientific initiatives across various therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and medical support for company products and therapy areas.
  • Assist in literature reviews, data analysis, and development of scientific presentations and medical content.
  • Support the planning and execution of medical education programs, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
  • Respond to medical information requests from healthcare professionals in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Assist in reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure medical accuracy.
  • Support real-world evidence, clinical research, and publication-related activities as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor scientific developments, treatment guidelines, and competitor activities within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
  • Strong interest in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate medical literature and clinical data.
