French Tutor

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for all subject areas — with an immediate need for an experienced French tutor. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a passion for teaching students at various grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.
• Deliver French language instruction in a clear, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
• Provide supplemental assignments to help promote greater understanding of the material.
• Offer remedial and enrichment support.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Requirements

• A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:
• You hold a valid Pennsylvania State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof.
• You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate.
• You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College.
