Freight Inspector

Position Overview Inspect and investigate shipment characteristics to ensure compliance with all freight rules, regulations, and NMFC applications for revenue recovery. Review dimensional scan data as needed. Essential Functions Review reports to verify NMFC compliance of shipmentsResearch inspection data for the Pricing departmentSupport freight analysis by reviewing dimensional data and making revenue adjustmentsCommunicate freight analysis processes across service centersParticipate in meetings to stay updated on freight analysis developmentsBuild positive relationships and assist leadership as neededEnsure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policiesPerform additional duties as required Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalentExperience in transportation operations preferredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to analyze data, make decisions, and work independently or within a teamCapability to climb trailers and handle varied weather conditions
