Freight Flow Associate
About the role
Operate a forklift to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets while complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Manage inventory flow, receive and stock merchandise, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
- Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage, and report inventory issues.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Proactively assist customers with technology services and items, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
