Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up displays, and ensuring proper zoning.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing orders.
• Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, recognizing contributions, and supporting talent.
• Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, complying with Walmart values, and holding oneself and others accountable.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
