Freight Flow Associate-5
About the role
You will operate a forklift to safely move, place, and position merchandise pallets while complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics. The role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies, maintaining facility safety, and ensuring the sales floor and merchandising presentation meet company standards. You will also assist with member service, club pick-up orders, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines to safely handle merchandise pallets.
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers, manage inventory flow, and correct shelf capacities.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, addressing their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and promoting company products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective items.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are accurately picked, staged, and audited according to company policies.
- Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely and report unsafe conditions or practices.
- Proactively assist customers with technology services and items, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.

- Deliver results while prioritizing customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
