Freight Flow Associate-2
About the role
You will operate a forklift and manage inventory in a Sam’s Club facility while providing excellent member service and maintaining safety and merchandising standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift following company standards to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
- Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting low stock or poor practices.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
- Assist customers with technology services and items, identifying shrink opportunities and addressing them.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (e.g., based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
