About the role
You will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, maintain the sales floor, and provide member service in a Sam’s Club facility while adhering to company policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets following company standards.
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers; identifying priorities and deadlines; and adapting to feedback.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required documentation.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, processing defective goods, and monitoring shrink and security risks.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
- Handle inventory by moving and displaying goods safely, tracking stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting low stock or poor practices.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues to management.
- Assist customers with technology services, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
