Ability to commute daily to local office is required.Able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to travel both air and surface – valid driver’s license requiredIndustry knowledge preferred but not required Description The Freight Dispatcher will be responsible for many aspects of the logistics operations at Sandhills Global. They will be the main source of carrier vetting and verification. They also will be the individual to onboard all new carriers. There will be frequent communication with carriers dispatchers and drivers to ensure a smooth delivery process. Freight Dispatchers will verify critical shipping paperwork including Bills of Lading, Rate Confirmation, Proof of Delivery, and driver logs. This role requires a high attention to detail as ensuring all proper documentation of the freight loads is completed and received. They will need to ensure strict adherence to the Department of Transportation and FMCSA regulations. The Freight Dispatcher will verify the load pick up and delivery along with this. Assume other duties as assigned.
