Freight Dispatcher

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred but not required
• Experience and/or knowledge in the Transportation or Logistics industries or ability to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to manage fast-paced, high-pressure challenges
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn Sandhills systems and processes
• Able to follow all applicable laws and regulations in the industry
• Excellent proactive problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong basic computer and phone skills
• Flexible and open to change
• Stable and progressive work history
• In Office Position. Ability to commute daily to local office is required
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to travel both air and surface – valid driver’s license required
• Industry knowledge preferred but not required
