Responsibilities
- Create industry specific prospect lists and initiate sales calls to prospective customers
- Partner with prospects/customers to understand business needs, product lines, and transportation requirements
- Understand market trends to capitalize on opportunities, generate new customers and grow book of business
- Market SFL services through calls, emails, texts, social media, in-person visits with current customers and prospects
- Provide exceptional service ensuring all customer needs are met with integrity and professionalism
Qualifications
- Passion for sales that is self-directed
- Ability to cold call and develop new business; Highly effective phone and communication skills
- Familiar with load boards, TMS, negotiating rates and transportation industry
- Strong dedication and assertiveness to succeed in the logistics industry
- Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
