Freight Broker

About the role

Responsible for arranging the transportation of goods between shippers and carriers. Works with clients to find the most cost-effective shipping solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage freight shipments from origin to destination
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Research and analyze market trends to provide cost-saving recommendations
• Prepare and submit invoices and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight brokerage or logistics
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of common carrier rates and regulations

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
