    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Pharmacy.
    • Licensure in the State of TN.
    • Board Certification preferred.
    • One-year hospital experience preferred.
    • Residency preferred.
    • Full-time 4 days per week, 8 hour shifts (day shift).

      About the Role

      We are seeking a Pharmacist FSED for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

      Responsibilities

      • Utilize good problem-solving abilities, making sure that problems are resolved, calling on other knowledgeable parties as necessary.
      • Maintain strong knowledge of hospital policies and government regulations and dispense accordingly.
      • Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors and complaints.
      • Determine and consult on possible drug interactions.
      • Aid with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
      • Monitor, record and communicate as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
      • Utilize knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
      • Be the pharmacist in charge and responsible for management of compliance and pharmacy operations at the FSED.
