Join a dynamic marketing team focused on elevating brand presence for small businesses and local personalities through engaging video content. This role is ideal for a Chicago-based videographer and editor who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about creating high-quality, short-form videos tailored for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit a 30–45 second brand introduction reel
• Produce a 30–60 second opinion or hot-take video
• Create a behind-the-scenes clip highlighting the production process
• Direct subjects on camera to ensure authentic and engaging performances
• Edit videos for optimal performance on Instagram and TikTok, including captions, dynamic cuts, and pacing
• Deliver all content in a timely manner, adhering to project deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, preferably with a portfolio of short-form social media content
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of social media trends, especially for Instagram and TikTok
• Ability to direct and coach on-camera talent for natural, engaging delivery
• Excellent attention to detail in editing, including captions, transitions, and pacing
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
