About the role
As a freelance video editor, you will edit 10- to 20-minute vlogs that captivate audiences and enhance viewer retention. The ideal candidate brings a dynamic, modern editing style and a passion for storytelling that resonates with a diverse audience.
Deliverables
- Edit 10- to 20-minute YouTube vlogs with a focus on pacing, narrative flow, and audience engagement
- Incorporate professional Spanish subtitles, sound effects, music, zooms, and transitions in a balanced, non-intrusive manner
- Ensure each video maintains a dynamic and entertaining style consistent with the channel’s brand
- Deliver 4 to 8 completed videos per month, adhering to agreed-upon timelines
- Collaborate closely to understand content goals and provide creative input where appropriate
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience editing YouTube vlogs, preferably in travel, culture, or food niches
- Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
