Freelance Proofreader/Copy Editor

Description

Freelance Proofreader/Copy Editor needed for Tennessee State Parks and The Tennessee Conservationist magazine. Every two months, proofread and copy edit the 44-page magazine in InDesign for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and AP style. Proofread various marketing materials on an as-needed basis. These will include brochures, flyers, menus, trail maps, and other promotional/informational materials. Fluent in Spanish are particularly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

• AP style Expert (10+ Years)
• InDesign Proficient (4-6 Years)
• Proofreading/Copy Editor Proficient (4-6 Years)
• Adobe Acrobat Proficient (4-6 Years)
• Advanced (7-9 Years) in Communication skills
• Proficient (4-6 Years) in Team work
• Microsoft Office Proficient (4-6 Years)
