About the role

KPIX is seeking a part-time video editor with a strong background in news production and experience with non-linear editing systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced television news environment
• Show detail-oriented and deadline-driven skills
• Ability to work with Grass Valley Edius editing system preferred
• Be a creative and poised team player capable of managing multiple projects
• Flexible with work schedule, able to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed
• Submit a demo reel demonstrating relevant skills
• Engage in CBS News and Stations' regular duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in television news
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Ability to work with Grass Valley Edius editing system
• Flexible with work schedule
• Willingness to work nights, overnights, and weekends
