Freelance Makeup Artist & On Camera Host - San Francisco, CA

About the Role

Collective Press is seeking a creative makeup artist, on-camera model, and host for one-off video shoots in our San Francisco office. We are a digital media startup producing online videos in lifestyle verticals, including makeup, hair styling, nail art, cooking, DIY, and hacks. Shoots typically last half days (4 hours) or full days (7 hours) and may become recurring based on video needs and your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Work on video shoots as a stylist, makeup artist, and on-camera model/host
• Execute makeup techniques on yourself and others
• Collaborate with the team to produce videos according to specifications
• Bring your own makeup supplies to shoots (video ideas will be coordinated in advance)

Requirements

• Experience and passion for makeup and styling
• Professional beauty license preferred
• Strong, dynamic, and engaging on-camera personality and appearance
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Punctual and reliable
