About the role
Are you a versatile writer who enjoys exploring a variety of topics, particularly in the social and non-profit sectors? Do you thrive on crafting compelling, thoughtful content that resonates with readers and inspires action? As a Freelance Blog Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand blog posts (approximately 500 words each) for our non-profit and social-focused clients. You’ll play a key role in helping to raise awareness, inform audiences, and support the missions of these important organizations.
Responsibilities
- Write well-researched, compelling blog posts on a variety of topics, with a focus on social and non-profit initiatives.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure content aligns with client objectives and campaign goals.
- Tailor writing style to meet each client’s unique voice, brand, and audience needs.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Edit and proofread your own work to ensure it meets high standards of quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a blog writer, ideally with a focus on social, non-profit, or similar fields.
- Ability to write clearly, persuasively, and with a strong storytelling approach.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
- Passion for social causes and making a positive impact.
Pay
$50 per 500-word blog post, equivalent to $0.10 per word.
