Job Description Freelance Assistant Designer Position Overview Our client is seeking a Freelance Assistant Designer to provide temporary support to its outerwear design team for a couple of months. This role will contribute to men’s, women’s, and kids’ outerwear programs across multiple brands including Eddie Bauer, Lands’ End, and Quiksilver Mens. Responsibilities Support the outerwear design team throughout the product development process.Assist with design research, concept development, color and material coordination, and presentation preparation.Help organize design files, samples, seasonal information, and team communications.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to help maintain project timelines and deliverables.Provide general design support across men’s, women’s, and kids’ product categories as needed. Qualifications 2–5 years of relevant apparel design or assistant design experience.Outerwear experience is not required, but is a strong plus.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced freelance environment.Ability to support multiple product categories and adapt to evolving team needs.
