Freelance Architect

About the role

The successful candidate will be a passionate, well-rounded, and committed architect/designer with at least 3 years of experience. They are interested in growing into an expanding architect-led design/build office as a freelancing consultant.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Project Manager with drafting and compilation of Construction Documents (all phases of documentation)
• Field observation and supervision
• Coordination and scheduling of Contractor/Subcontractor/Vendor work

Requirements

Candidates must be local to the NY/NJ area and available for part-time, in-person team work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an architect/designer
• Proficiency in Autocad, Rhino + Vray, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator + Indesign), and Microsoft Office
• Experience with project management software (i.e. ProCore) is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Pay

Hourly, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Part-time, in-person team work.
