Fragrance Evaluator

Join our client's QC team in Wayne, NJ, as a Finished Goods Evaluator in this temporary position (until the end of the year). Your expertise in evaluating scents will help ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform organoleptic (olfactive, texture, appearance) analyses of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products, following prescribed testing procedures.
• Evaluate and record sensory impressions accurately and consistently.
• Maintain records of test results and report findings to requestors.
• Work under general supervision.
• Handle special tasks and projects as requested to meet company objectives.
• Participate in relevant education/training and adhere to environmental policies and practices.
• Support other duties and responsibilities in alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a fragrance evaluator or in a similar sensory evaluation role.
• Advanced sensory evaluation (olfaction) skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP.
• GC Interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent sensory perception and descriptive abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Dependable and detail-oriented.

Formal education or technical background is not necessary, but experience in sensory analysis is essential.

Pay

$35-$45 per hour (DOE)

Schedule

Contract position until the end of the year.
