Primary Responsibilities
- Inspects and approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Performs inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and other related documents.
- Inspected aircraft components to assure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and general aircraft standards.
- Rechecks work after adjustment or repair.
- Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Requirements

- High school graduate (or equivalent).
- Able to read and write English.
- Ability to understand Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Ability to understand basic mathematical methods.
Qualifications
- Reasonably good manual dexterity.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach and lift 40 lbs. minimum repetitively.
- Must be able to withstand repetitive contact with water and moisture.
Skills
- Understand drawings and drawing notes.
- Perform Receiving and Inspection functions.
- Perform manufacturing in-process inspections.
- Perform non-destructive testing such as pressure and vacuum acceptance testing.
- Assist in performing higher levels of inspection.
