About the role
The Finance Organization at Verizon is building a leading Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. This involves streamlining processes, improving systems, realigning the organization, and offering opportunities for personal and professional growth. Responsibilities
- Drive better business partnering and insights through your contributions.
- Participate in pricing decisions and new initiatives for developing new products and services.
- Develop and communicate the plan and forecast, financial reporting, operational analysis, and executive reviews for Actuals, Business Plan, Commitment View, and Best View.
- Evaluate business results and provide strategic guidance and insights during the analysis process.
- Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions and present recommendations to leadership.
- Design, develop, and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes.
- Assess customer/product profitability and drive profit optimization.
- Lead large and complex team projects with minimal direct supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience, preferably in the technology and/or telecommunications industry.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA (preferred).
- An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including FASB and SEC requirements.
- Knowledge of cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management.
- Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic skills and the ability to identify and assess key points, implications, and recommendations.
- A high degree of analytical capability with the ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic vision.
- Experience leading large and complex team projects with minimal direct supervision.

Pay
$94,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually, depending on location and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office.
