Location: California Type: Temporary Job #50198 Salary: $65.00 Job Overview – FP&A Manager (Temporary) Compensation: $65–$80/hour (Dependent on Experience) Location: California Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote) Atlantic Group is hiring an FP&A Manager (Temporary) for our client, supporting financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business intelligence within a growing organization. This role will develop financial models and reporting tools, analyze business performance, and leverage data to provide actionable insights for leadership. The ideal candidate has manager-level FP&A experience with strong financial systems, data analytics, and business intelligence capabilities. Responsibilities as the FP&A Manager: Financial Planning: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models, and long-term planning analyses. Management Reporting: Prepare financial reporting, performance metrics, and management analysis to support business decisions. Variance Analysis: Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identify key business drivers, and communicate financial trends. Data Analytics: Analyze financial and operational data to improve reporting accuracy and generate actionable business insights. Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain financial dashboards and data visualizations using business intelligence tools. Business Partnership: Collaborate with finance and operational teams while supporting financial analysis, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications for the FP&A Manager: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. Experience: 5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related corporate finance experience, including leadership or manager-level responsibilities, is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Experience within a complex or growth-oriented corporate environment is preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills are required, with Power BI and ERP or business intelligence system experience preferred. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and business partnering skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights are required.
