FP&A Manager - North America
We are seeking an experienced and strategic FP&A Manager to own and lead the financial planning and analysis function for our North American region. Reporting to the N.A. Regional Finance Leader with a dotted line to the Global FP&A Manager, this role serves as the primary finance thought partner and subject matter expert for operating entities across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted financial business partner and advisor for senior regional management, collaboratively guiding business leaders on financial performance.
- Translate global TVH strategy into relevant KPIs, strategy maps, and performance management dashboards for the North American region.
- Develop comprehensive financial business cases for capital investments, regional growth initiatives, and corporate/business line strategic projects, balancing financial and non-financial considerations.
- Steer, organize, execute, and monitor the regional financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasting cycles.
- Contribute to the development of TVH finance and control policies, aligning global corporate procedures with regional business requirements and ensuring local FP&A activities adhere to global standards.
- Use creative thinking and strategic judgment to refine regional FP&A procedures, driving reporting modernization and long-term analytical frameworks.
- Collect financial data and conduct complex, in-depth variance, trend, and profitability analyses across North American entities to preserve data integrity and drive decision-making.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely internal management reporting, up to a consolidated regional level, in strict alignment with TVH and statutory reporting procedures and deadlines.
- Co-design and lead corporate strategic projects, including analytical support for regional M&A activity and non-FP&A cross-functional initiatives, in accordance with TVH project governance guidelines.
- Build, maintain, and leverage an international network of contacts across TVH to influence cross-functional decisions, build trusted matrix relationships, and drive project execution through collaborative alignment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial control, or corporate finance within a global or matrixed organization, with a strong track record as a functional manager or senior individual contributor.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, driver-based planning, 3-statement modeling, and EPM platforms (Oracle EPM preferred).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, influence senior stakeholders collaboratively, and hold business partners accountable without direct reporting lines.
- Creative thinker with executive presence and strong judgment, capable of translating operational realities into financial impacts.
- Ability to thrive in an international environment, seamlessly collaborating with global headquarters (Belgium) and multi-country regional entities.
