Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support for products, investments, and transactions under guidance from senior team members
- Aid in monitoring financial and accounting trends impacting the life insurance and annuity industry
- Support team and departmental initiatives while building analytical and business acumen
- Participate in the annual financial planning and forecasting process
- Aid in preparation and analysis of IFRS and Statutory financial reports
- Help prepare materials and summaries related to financial results for management review
- Develop a foundational understanding of investment, accounting, and actuarial concepts relevant to the business
- Support routine governance processes and information requests from Allianz Life stakeholders and parent company Allianz SE
- Collect and analyze market, industry, and competitor data to support business insights
- Affiliate with market research and industry analysis aligned with company strategies
- Communicate financial information clearly through written materials and presentations
- Learn key financial drivers, policyholder liabilities, and asset portfolio structures
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
- Support special projects and ad-hoc analyses led by senior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and meet deliverable timelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, templates, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant financial, accounting, or analytical experience
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively while also managing assigned tasks independently
- Demonstrated interest in financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of investment, accounting, and actuarial concepts
- Ability to collect and analyze market, industry, and competitor data
