FP&A Analyst - Fully Remote We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a growing organization in a fully remote contract opportunity. This role is expected to be a minimum two-month assignment, with potential for permanent employment down the road based on business needs and performance. This is a hands-on FP&A role for a true builder. The ideal candidate will not simply run existing reports-they will build and maintain financial models, develop KPIs and dashboards, analyze business performance, and help leadership understand the story behind the numbers. What You'll Do Own key components of monthly and year-to-date financial reporting across multiple business units and regionsBuild and maintain complex, formula-driven Excel models using financial and operational dataConsolidate site- and region-level P&L information into company-wide reportingPerform Actual vs. Budget vs. Prior Year variance and trend analysisBuild and maintain KPI dashboards around revenue, margins, labor costs, and operating performanceDevelop new metrics, scorecards, and analytical frameworks as business needs evolveAnalyze financial performance and identify the underlying drivers behind results and variancesPartner with Operations and site leadership to understand business performancePrepare clear financial commentary and executive-level reportingSupport monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysisAssist with financial statement analysis, EBITDA bridges, cash flow analysis, and other corporate finance projectsIdentify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a similar analytical roleExperience in a multi-site, multi-unit, or portfolio-company environment preferredAdvanced Excel skills with experience building complex, formula-driven, multi-tab financial modelsStrong experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisAbility to develop KPIs, dashboards, and analytical toolsStrong analytical skills and the ability to identify the "why" behind the numbersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ownership of data accuracyAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a remote environment Preferred Experience Healthcare services or other multi-site operating environmentsPrivate equity-backed organizationsPower BI, Tableau, or other BI/visualization toolsERP/general ledger systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Great PlainsCredit agreements, covenant reporting, or lender/investor reportingMBA, CFA, or progress toward a related credential The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with a builder's mindset who enjoys creating analytical tools and reports from the ground up. You should be comfortable getting in the weeds with the data, asking questions until you understand the true business driver, and taking ownership of your work from the initial analysis through the final executive presentation.
