Fourmile - Project Controller Costs Controls

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cost control plans in alignment with project scope and schedule.
• Monitor project costs, track variances, and provide detailed financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely collection and validation of cost data.
• Perform cost risk analysis, trend forecasting, and scenario modeling to support project decisions.
• Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and other project-related expenditures.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc management reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements.
• Assist in audits and financial reviews related to project costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 5–10 years of experience in project controls, cost control, or financial management within the mining or heavy industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of mining project cost structures, budgeting, and financial reporting required.
• Proficiency in project controls software (e.g., SAP, Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) required.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is full-time and based in the Fourmile Project location.
