Foundry Lead - 3rd Shift

About the role

The primary focus of the lead will be to support the shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rates, through training and following procedures. The lead will also play a key role in our movement toward Continuous Improvement, cross-training and flexibility in the Stainless Foundry.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rates, through training and following procedures.
• Play a key role in our movement toward Continuous Improvement, cross-training and flexibility in the Stainless Foundry.
• Train and problem solve as needed.
• Fills in as a melter or caster as needed.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of foundry operations.
• Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to direct people.
• Experience training and problem solving.
• Hands on and capable to fill in as a melter or caster as needed.
