Foundry Lead - 3rd Shift

We have an immediate opportunity for an individual with strong leadership qualities and a good understanding of our foundry operations to assume a Lead position in the Stainless Foundry. The primary focus of the lead will be to support the shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rates, through training and following procedures. The lead will also play a key role in our movement toward Continuous Improvement, cross-training, and flexibility in the Stainless Foundry.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rate targets
• Train team members and ensure adherence to procedures
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in the Stainless Foundry
• Promote cross-training and workforce flexibility
• Fill in as a melter or caster when needed

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of foundry operations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to direct people
• Experience in training and problem-solving
• Hands-on capability to perform melter or caster duties as required
