Job Description

• Partner with product engineers and co-founders to set product direction, conducting user research to clarify complex workflows and technical business logic.
• Design and iterate on both B2B advisor dashboards and B2C client experiences, ensuring a high degree of polish for data-dense, institutional-grade interfaces.
• Build and maintain SyntheticFi’s foundational design system, establishing the patterns and standards that will define the brand's digital identity across all platforms.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain SyntheticFi’s foundational design system, establishing the patterns and standards that will define the brand's digital identity across all platforms.

Requirements

• Has 5+ years of product design experience, specifically with a background in building complex B2B, fintech, data-heavy, or enterprise-level software products.
• Demonstrates mastery of Figma and a proven ability to build comprehensive design systems that bridge the gap between creative vision and technical implementation.
• Exhibits strong problem-framing skills and high visual design standards, with the comfort level required to thrive and lead in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial mechanics and the ability to simplify them for retail investors.
• Experience in designing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As the first design hire at SyntheticFi, you will own the end-to-end product design for a complex fintech platform. Partnering directly with co-founders and engineers, you will translate intricate financial mechanics into intuitive B2B and B2C experiences, building design systems from scratch while the company scales rapidly beyond $2B in regulatory AUM.

Qualifications

Lead design for a category-defining fintech product managing $2B+ AUM with consistent 20%+ month-over-month growth since its early 2025 launch.
