Founding Marketing & Social Associate Hello Lura
Moonlight Digital · Troy, MI · Yesterday
On-siteMarketing$65k–$75k/yrFull-time
About the role
Hellolura.ai is building the thing that turns a marketing grad into a candidate who gets picked. You'd be one of the first people building it for people exactly like you, six months ago.
What you'd actually do
- Own our social presence end-to-end: TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts. Strategy, scripting, filming, editing, posting, replying. Not managing an agency—making the stuff.
- Be the voice of the user in the product. You just lived the broken job hunt. That's not a soft qualification; it's the most valuable thing on your resume here.
- Run experiments weekly: hooks, formats, landing pages, campus partnerships, ambassador programs. Kill what doesn't work, fast.
- Talk to users constantly. DMs, calls, campus visits. Bring back what you hear.
- Do whatever the week demands. Some weeks, that's 40 videos. Some weeks, it's cold-emailing 300 career centers.
The honest part about how we work
We'd rather lose you at the job description than at month three.
- This is not a 9-to-5. It's a startup in its first year. Nights and weekends happen, not as punishment, but because the work genuinely isn't finished and we're racing people with more money than us.
- You'll be the only person at your function. Nobody hands you a brief. If you need someone to tell you what to do this week, you'll be miserable here. However, you will interact with and work with the team at Moonlight Digital, our Digital Agency.
- We ship fast and publicly. You will post things that flop and post the next one an hour later.
- The bar is obsession, not hours in a chair. We don't care how much you work or when you sleep. We care that this problem lives rent-free in your head.
- Direct feedback, immediately, in both directions. If that reads as harsh to you, we're not a fit.
What do you get for it
- Real founding-team equity, not a rounding error.
- Total ownership of an entire function fresh out of college that most people wait six years to touch.
- A direct line to the founder. You'll be in every strategy conversation, not summarized afterward.
- Our founder has 3 successful acquisitions, with the most notable and recent acquisition of SubSummit.
- A resume line that opens doors for the next decade or a company you help make big enough that you never need it.
You're probably a fit if
- You graduated in the last year or two in marketing, communications, General Business, or Entrepreneurship, or you're self-taught and better than the people who weren't.
- You've built an audience for something. Your own account, a club, a brand, a side project, a fan page. Numbers optional, obsession not.
- You want a startup specifically. Not "open to startups." You've thought about it, and this is the version of a career you want.
You're probably not a fit if
You want defined hours, a clear ladder, a manager who assigns your work, or a role where marketing means approving what the agency made. Those are all completely reasonable things to want. We just don't have them.
