About the Role
As the Founding iOS Engineer, you will lead the transition of a high-engagement AI social platform from Flutter to native Swift. You'll own the mobile experience end-to-end, building interactive features for millions of users. This role involves shipping AI-native mobile workflows and defining the architectural future of a rapidly growing entertainment ecosystem.
This is a high-ownership founding role with significant equity and the opportunity to build the core iOS experience from the ground up. The company is backed by premier global venture capital firms and led by a team that has previously built massive-scale consumer social products. You will work at the frontier of AI and entertainment on a platform already experiencing viral growth and heavy daily user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the native Swift iOS application, transitioning the core experience from a hybrid framework to a high-performance native stack.
- Design and implement complex UI/UX components for a social feed that handles diverse, AI-generated interactive content.
- Collaborate directly with product and design leads to rapidly prototype and ship new features to a global user base.
Requirements
- Strong professional background in Swift and SwiftUI with a portfolio of shipped, high-traffic consumer mobile applications.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to own large technical projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, 0-to-1 environment.
- Deep interest in AI-native development and a passion for creating seamless, delightful user experiences in the social and entertainment space.
