Founding Product Engineer (AI Startup)

About the Role

StartupStack by Cognistack is hiring two engineers to join this initiative.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product development (Frontend, Backend & AI).
• AI/LLM-powered workflows for accounting & tax automation.
• Integrations and connectors for production customers.
• Scalable full-stack applications using modern AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Full-Stack Product Engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript, React, Next.js & Node.js skills.
• Experience shipping AI/LLM features into production.
• Pictured ability to build products from scratch (0→1).
• Startup builder mindset with high ownership.
• Comfortable talking with customers and moving fast.

Required Skills

• AI-native engineer using modern AI development tools.
• Built side projects or products with real users.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Top university or exceptional builder profile.

Preferred Skills

• Not looking for Big Tech engineers who have never built products from scratch.
• Engineers who aren’t AI-native.
• Frontend-only or Backend-only specialists.

Pay

Salary: $185,000–$270,000/year
