About the role

We're looking for a go-to-market hire to join the founding team of Hazel, an AI coworker for consumer brands. The ideal candidate will own top-of-funnel activities, generating qualified pipeline with our CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Take over our events and conference calendar
  • Ship content that turns into conversations
  • Get deep enough on the product, the ICP, and our customers to sound like an operator
  • Own pipeline generation end to end
  • Set the strategy, run the experiments, and grow qualified conversations month over month
  • Build our events and field motion into a repeatable pipeline engine
  • Show up at conferences that matter, booking meetings and following up
  • Drive content and search visibility, including case studies, SEO, and showing up when buyers research with AI
  • Amplify founder-led distribution on LinkedIn and build Hazel's voice in the DTC community
  • Own measurement, knowing which motions generate pipeline and which are theater

Requirements

A 2-6 year track record in growth, demand gen, field/event marketing, or a GTM generalist role, ideally at an early-stage startup. Must be an AI-native, able to use modern AI tools to do the work of a much bigger team, and think in terms of qualified conversations and pipeline, not impressions and follower counts. Experience in the e-commerce/DTC world is required.

Qualifications

The role requires a builder who does the work, not just directs it. Must be able to run the event, write the post, brief the case study, and read the data themselves. Experience in generating pipeline through content, events, and community is essential.

Skills

Must have high agency and urgency. The ability to run the work day to day is crucial.

Benefits

Compensation range: $150K - $175K. Includes a base salary of $115K-$140K plus variable compensation tied to pipeline performance, potentially reaching $150K-$175K total. Benefits include top-tier health, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k), and unlimited PTO. Hybrid work in NYC is offered.
